Adding attachment...through code?

I don't know how easy this would be but,

I have a procedurally generated pdf report that I built in a web service. This is being called in a script. 

Any idea how I can add that pdf to the attachments?

preferably without saving it (e.g while it is still a byte array) to avoid any local access rights issues on the running machine.
